Festival Di' Arts 2009

Festival Di'Arts 2009 was successfully concluded on the 7 September 2009. 300 teachers,
ICT heads of departments as well as partners in education turned up for the event,
with Director Educational Technology MOE Dr Cheah Horn Mun as the Guest of Honour.
Other VIPs include Dr Steven Zuiker (Keynote Speaker) Learning Sciences Lab, NIE,
Mr John Treloar Education Director, Asia Pacific, Adobe Systems, Ms Abspoel Helmi and
Ms Toivonen Heli, educators from Tikkurilan Lukio, Finland.

During the event, an education ecosystem initiatve, the Media PlayLab International
Network and its Second Life virtual campus was launched, in a bid to build global
Communities of Practice in Singapore as well as with educators from other countries.

Expressions of Understanding were signed and exchanged between Innova Junior
College Centre of Excellence for New Media with Singapore Media Academy, Association
of Machinima Arts and Sciences as well as Shooot in providing value added services to the Media PlayLab International Network.
